  1. nice rack. actually, it amazes me that an animal can support the weight of all that bone on his head....do you think the two babies are twins?

  2. They're a little scary, Kathy. Are you afraid, just a little or do they run away if you clap your hands.

  3. It is surprising that he can hold that weight on his head. In the videos, sometimes it looks like those antlers are just so heavy he can hardly support them anymore...Then again, he may just be showing off for the women. Last night he spent a lot of time laying around in our yard. I was worried that he was sick but then he got right back at it. He has a tag on his ear, so I assume he is the one who was wounded last year.
Those babies are really shy. I have hardly ever seen them. I need to watch to see if I can figure out if they are from the same mother.
I stay at my door when the big bull is around. He is scary. I can't get him on my new camera because I don't have a long enough zoom.
The rest of them have way too little fear. When we take the dog out at night, they stand around and watch us, just as we do them!
It makes me worried that the hunters can get them, so I never engage them.
