The rare and beautiful While Pelican

 You don't just roll out of bed looking this gorgeous.

 It takes hours of fluffing,
 preening
 plumping


 and general perfect grooming
 But it's worth it in the end, don't you think?

    I love pelicans. I can sit for hours at the OBX and watch them fish.

    FYI, when the sun was rising this AM and I was on my morning power walk through the Dupage River park forest I saw two large owls perched on the tops of trees hunting for those God-forsaken chipmunks or mice or squirrels!!!! It was pretty cool.
