Don't worry, Freddy Fanns, I did have a babysitter come in so he would not be too lonely!
I love going to central Illinois, whatever the season. So many memories of my childhood, visiting family.
I love the landscape,
I love the corn,
I love the beans,
I love the lawn ornaments,
I love the grasshoppers and beetles that buzz, I love the County Fairs, I love the smells of mown grasses of every kind.
My father was in fine form, having spent the previous evening deer hunting, and to top it off, the hunting group also serendipitously (for them, NOT the deer) was given a deer that had been hit by a car that evening.
He still was wearing his special Deer Hunting cap when we arrived
I went into the back/front /side yard to enjoy:
while Jamie and Grandpa went to check on the progress of the deer huntersGolf Carts seem to be a recurring theme in our lives....
And of course, you can't have men without a little Roto-Rootering
Hey, what's that water bottle doing in there?????
All in all, a lovely time was had by all.
BUT, here is the bad part about being on the road:
EWWWWWWW
Mercy, woman, you are tough to pin down!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing IN the garbage can?
And do NOT touch anything in any restroom at any time whatsoever!
You central IL looks like "our" southern IL!
Happy Tgiving.
Yo Fred was your sitter a babe??? Man I hope so. SO little to look forward to when your not allowed to go to your normal hot spots....and at your age...PRIME is all I am gonna say. So if she wasn't your type, tell your mom that she was mean to you....then you can get a new one next time.
ReplyDeleteCan't support the hunting thing and am glad you missed it.
Happy Turkey to you...God, I hope you can at least get a little turkey action.
xoxo
