There is a llama on the loose here, believe me, but we are safe in our nice little hotel room.
Today-- two dog parks one great, one not so much.
More scary geese. And art all over the place!

A New Adventure Awaits!

OK, Here we go!!!

Today is the day Fred and I begin our road trip to Sun Valley (technically Hailey) Idaho.
Our first stop will be: drum rolllllllllll-----Rochester, MN! Yes, garden spot of the Upper Midwest.
The Gallo single serving is for AFTER arrival.

I don't know what's going on here in Naperville, but suddenly every store in downtown Naperville has big dog bowls of water at the door. There are scads of dogs walking through town, and don't even get me started about the number of dogs wandering the aisles at the new Two Bostons store!
I don't know when this happened, or how I missed it?????.
The Riverwalk (or should I say Roverwalk) is also overrun with canines of every shape, size and breed---

Now, we just need some nice al fresco dog friendly dining in town.

Oh, and this new statue???? It's the planners of the Riverwalk.

Freddy's Hobby

Freddy's new hobby this year is Agility Classes! Yep, he has to haul all 80 + pounds of himself up and over all this equipment.

Good training though for all the mountain climbing he will be doing in Sun Valley.

Freddy loves the dog park, unless there are bullies there. Here he is running with the "Mayor of the Dog Park", a Neapolitan Mastiff named Otto, and his little friend Lola. He is in training for the upcoming mountain climbing in Sun Valley.

The Puppy

Whilst planning and plotting our upcoming road trip to Sun Valley, it occurred to me that I could take a page from my good friend Sharon (graceandralph.blogspot.com), and start a blog about living and traveling with a lab.

Freddy and I spend way too much time on the road-- we've logged so many hours, days and weeks since his first 5 hour trip from Grandquest Labradors to Boca Grande in January 2008.

He's a good sport, though, always ready for the next adventure!
