Boca Morning

Breakfast for Fred, breakfast for me-- Fred's  is the one with the pokey things so he doesn't get THE BLOAT

Survey our realm

I bet that's Harrison Ford loitering in my back yard again...................

And, always, always, nap after a meal.

Jacksonville Florida is colder than Chicagoland

It might be time for Freddy and me to become the official spokescouple for Staybridge Suites.
Or maybe just Freddy.

We spend way too many nights a year at this brand, wherever we are in the country.
One of the best parts is the Sundowner Reception from 5:30 - 7:30 weekdays. Yep. Usually includes free wine which frees up my wallet for a few more single servings.
Mick's Kindle is currently on loan for this trip...LOVE IT!!!! have read WENCH and THE LOCK ARTIST. Kindle rocks!

Jacksonville is 53; Chicago is 64. How is this possible? But Fred is nice and comfy.

Guest spot from Sonny

I think every dog in our family has stayed at this Staybridge in Chattanooga.
Thankfully, in Ye Olde Family Tradition, Sonny remembered the single serving.

Pelecanus erythrorhynchos

The White Pelican, a gorgeous, exquisite, particular bird... frequents only the most dazzling places on earth-- Boca, Tahoe, Morro Bay and  the like...
This fella was hangin' in our back yard in the famous Redfish Hole. Lookin' for babes.
You can tell by the horn on his bill which will be shed after mating season.
Yum. Diving for lunch.
