Had to go down to Paris, sans Freddy, for a sad occasion, the funeral of my delightful and beloved Uncle Deane.
In spite of the sad circumstances,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE central Illinois, more than words can say.

An "ALEX! GET WELL!!!" shout out

As many of you know, my dear nephew Alex, (Con's son) had a skateboard accident last week, and suffered a head injury. He is going to be absolutely fine, but it's been a long painful road with 6 days in Children's Hospital in LA. Skateboard accidents can give a fellow a really bad headache. So he is going to go home to a cave-like environment to heal a bit more.
He needs to get better soon, so he can have tons o' fun with friends and fam
