Holy Bat Trap!

Don't know if I've mentioned this, but the house we are staying in was  owned by Adam West AKA Bruce Wayne AKA BATMAN

So, I turned on the TV last night, and what is on, BAM! POW! KLOK!

And, of course, everyone's idol. CATWOMAN!

Did it ever occur to me 45 years ago as I watched Batman on our B&W TV, that I would someday be watching this same show from the actual Bat Lair?????

This is one of those hikes which Freddy respectfully declines to attend. Once he sees the big backpack come out, he does not leave the front porch. So, Fred's dad was on his own.

Funny, this place is so beautiful, but there is something about it that scares the Holy Crap out of me, every time I go....

There are pet friendly hotels, like the HI Laramie, and then the Pets Barely Tolerated in the Dungeon hotels, like The Ogden Marriott.

This is actually better than the first room offered, across from icemaker, maids headquarters, and with street vendors outside the window.
So far I've found an earwig in the room service menu and some tick like bug in the tub. Ah! the Wild Wild West!

These guys were singing Happy Trails To You, Until We Meet Again. It was absolutely cool, in an "I love my walker with wheels" kind of way....I can say that , having been part of the Walker Brigade.   People, with voices of angels, and your regular Joe  come here and sing all day long.   Just caught the end part. Guess we get it twice.
