Parents Come to the Rescue
Plans for eaglet to leave the nest seem to have been put on hold for now
After 2 more osprey attacks on Thursday, the parents are sticking close to the nest and baby
A little more one on one training for the baby
who seems to have more skill than confidence
This is tricky, this flying business!
Landings can be especially tricky for eaglets, and probably are very important if you are under constant attack
The parents moved to their favorite lookout tree while baby cries in the nest, and makes the occasional short flight
Guess this gives mom some time to take care of her appearance.

The parents are not giving up watch, since danger still lurks. The osprey below never left its post
It's a waiting game.
I understand the ospreys are protected, too -- gosh, my vote's for Eagletta. Great shots all.
